West

If there's a neat-o trail nearby and we all have our Cougars/bikes ... we're dressing alike in honor of my uncle Kyle and heading out on the Hiawatha!
The trail is a converted train pass through the mountains along the Idaho/Montana border ... and it has lots of tunnels (one over a mile long) and lots of tressle bridges (most hundreds of feet high) that made for a great ride!
The tunnels were a bit puddly, though, and cousin Zoe's lack of fenders came back to get her.
The views throughout were amazing - there are a whole lot of pine trees in northeastern Idaho!
We stopped for a bit of fun and a few pics on the bridges ...
I shared my Cougar with a sleepy cousin Ellen on the first half of the ride ...
... and I took care of cousin Alea for the second half.
We fortunately all emerged from the final tunnel unscathed ...
... and had a few moments for pictures ...
... while we waited for the shuttle bus to pick us up and take us back to our car.
