Yes ... more food pictures - it's the only time I sit still all day! I made up for avoiding breakfast and lunch by happily stuffing my face with my new favorite pasta tonight.

On Saturday ... it was BOB'n on over for mochas and donuts!
... and loud ...
... and showed off my standing skills to the old guys in the booth next to ours (a bit fuzzy, but look - no hands!).

To the world of walkers: Make room for ME! No pics to prove it yet, but I started walking on my own today. No walker. No hands. No coffee table. No cabinet door. From here to there. 2 steps. 3 steps. 4 STEPS!

For the first time in a long time, my upper and lower lashes met one another for an extended period this evening. It took a longer than normal BOB around the neighborhood, but it happened.

The quietness was short-lived, however, because as soon as we got home I was ready to resume my active ways ...
I've been busy putting miles on my walker everyday!
Mom said that I was doing such a good job that maybe tomorrow I could work on pushing the lawn mower!
Mom, Dad, and I made a last-minute decision to head to my Wisco grandparents' house for the weekend because the Cubs' magic number was rapidly shrinking. Unfortunately, the rumblings in my tummy were still a problem and I couldn't venture too far away from a
... while I dressed for the part but rested w/my Gdo, Grandma, and aunt Beezer.
Mom and Dad witnessed a Cubbie win which reduced the Cubs' magic number to zero and caused lots of celebrating!
I didn't miss out on all-things Cubs that day, though, 'cuz Mom did a little shopping at the game so we can be twins while we watch the Cubs win the World Series this fall.
... and back home my belly was at last feeling better after it had a nice taste of trouble-making success.
Dad and I hung out yesterday and again today because although my feet continue to say "walk", my digestive system continues to say "runs".
My messy diaper changes and subsequent baths haven't dampened my activity too much: I still fly around the backyard ...
... get into things I'm not supposed to get into ...
... and refuse to sit still for anything, including my bedtime bottle!
I've had a yucky tummy all weekend which has meant lots and lots of baths for me and loads of towels and diapers to wash for Mom and Dad.
... so I helped inspect our picks to make sure they looked just right ...
... and tasted just right.
If it's Saturday ... it's BOB'n on over through the rain for mochas, donuts, and puffs!
The constant drizzle kept us inside the coffee shop longer than normal ... so I celebrated by putting on a show for everyone else - pushing a chair around the entire shop, making a big circle just like with my Bumbo last night!
Mom decided to make all my walking/pushing adventures a little easier by incorporating wheels into the equation ... check out my new toy (click on the pictures ... they come to life)!
I rediscovered my Bumbo tonight. It turned out to be just what I needed, not for sitting, but for touring the house.
It's been a busy week of playing all day and then helping Mom and Dad at night. My job: help sort the junk mail and old magazines.
