Mom, Dad, and I also traveled to my Wisconsin Grandparents' house yesterday in preparation for my first trip to the Friendly Confines on Monday, and we made a pit stop along the way (in the city where Mom and Dad used to live) to see old friends and watch the Badgers lose big-time, too. I don't know if it was caused by the score or not, but man do Badger fans really like to drink a yellow foamy liquid!

I've got talent
Mom and I walked to her school this afternoon to watch her students' talent show. All the kids loved to see me smiling! When we got home, I practiced a few of the dancin' moves I picked up at the show.

Rootbeer makes me tired
I would have contributed more to the cause, but I did my best Zoe impression yesterday and didn't take a nap ALL DAY (it was my first "all dayer") so I caught up on my zzz's while Dad shopped.
Well rested and back home, I had fun with my toys and danced to the Indigo Girls until bedtime.

Hippity hoppity
Happy Easter! My holiday weekend was a time of 1sts ...
Saturday saw my inaugural "play time" with my crumply paper (I'm chewing it on the right - it makes lots of noise when you touch it) ...

Meet my ExerSaucer
Thanks to everyone who has called to leave me messages ... I listen to them just about every day! I of course can't put a face with your voice just yet, but I'll keep listening just the same.

A giraffe?
Mom and Dad keep insisting that we saw a baby giraffe, too, but I sure don't remember it.

March miscellaneous
Today the weather was so nice that Mom and I set out on a walk after daycare ... except we didn't get very far. We made a pit stop at our neighbors' house and went inside for a chat and some pics ... maybe we'll finish the walk tomorrow.
I also demonstrated my favorite new thing - shoving my fingers and anything held in my fingers into my mouth!
Tonight Mom and I read Your Personal Penguin before I turned in for the night.

A sleepy weekend
A good weekend ... lots of growing, my first dirty diapers in a week, my first Cubs game on TV (only 3 weeks until opening day!). Daycare must have worn me out on Friday - I fell asleep at 7 pm and didn't wake up until 4 am Saturday! I'd never done that before. Because Saturday was the 27th (and, hopefully, final) morning of negative air temps this winter, Dad bundled me up for our walk to Sarah Jane's and Audubon for donuts and mochas.
As usual, I slept through our visit to Audubon while Mom and Dad read the paper.
... and napped with Mom Sunday afternoon.
To finish the week smelling my best, Dad gave me a bath Sunday night before night-night time.

Success at Sara's
Tonight I went face-to-face with my new 2-headed circus toy ...

ISWD, Day III
While I admit I was a bit off my game today, I did have a few good moments.
But this is a better reflection of my day.

ISWD, Day II
Although this website is supposed to detail my adventures, it's hard to be too adventurous when the temps outside struggle to get into the teens ... but Dad and I tried to be a little more thrill-seeking today anyway. We played the piano this morning ...
... and took a walk to Dabble to stock up on birthday cards ...
... and pretended I was flying on top of Dad's knees...
