WiscoWeekend: Easter and LIAW #3 edition

If it's time to put our house up for sale so we can move back to where Mom and Dad want me to grow up ... it's packing all our clutter into a moving truck and storing it in Madison! On Friday we accomplished just that while I had fun rediscovering many of my baby toys.
Our trip continued on to GMO's and GDO's house where we had a trial run at an Easter egg hunt in the backyard on Saturday ...
... before a quick trip to the nearby pool/waterpark.
Easter Sunnyday began with a real hunt - the eggs were stuffed with stickers and snacks - where I struggled to carry as many eggs as I could.
Our Wisconsunny weekend turned into ... the Cubs home opener! Just like last year, I dressed appropriately for the big day!
Unfortunately, just like last year, it was rainy at Wrigley (and this time cold, too!).
We lucked out by having a friend save us seats under the scoreboard where we were somewhat protected from the rain and 30 mph wind - probably the warmest seats in the Confines!
While the storm caused a lengthy delay before the game started ...... we wandered through Wrigley's belly and sang the rain-rain-lighten-up song.
... which worked! It never stopped raining (or blowing), but the game began and played on in the drizzle - which allowed me to experience the wonders of my first brat!
A great day with lots of smiles and bird-pointing and yummy Wrigley food and a Cubs win ... can't wait to do it again next year!
