Before another long car ride to Grammy and Grampa's house, I expended some energy on a long walk to the Lake Michigan beach with Mom, Cara, Zoe, and Alea. We walked down a long ramp leading from the bluff to the beach ...
... and eventually made our way over to the pier where I had fun continuing to chase Zoe and feeling the strong wind in my face. 
After filling our shoes with sand we headed for the snowy northern portion of Michigan ... and I happily slept the whole way.
