Success at Sara's

This morning I sent Mom off to school before I headed to daycare at Sara's for the first time.

I was my old self again today after a rough ISWD, Day III, and I had a lot of fun checking out all the activity going on around me at Sara's. All the other kids were so interested in touching me and playing with me that Sara had to implement the "one finger" rule so that there was enough of me to go around for everyone!

Tonight I went face-to-face with my new 2-headed circus toy ...

... and "put both legs in" while listening to Dan Zanes sing "The Hokey Pokey"!

ISWD, Day III

Check out my fancy pants! This morning Mom said they were "cute", but Dad referred to them as "cranky" all day, so go figure.

While I admit I was a bit off my game today, I did have a few good moments.

But this is a better reflection of my day.

ISWD, Day II

Bad news: my 'sleep-through- the-night' streak stopped at 1. Good news: I still only only woke up once!

Although this website is supposed to detail my adventures, it's hard to be too adventurous when the temps outside struggle to get into the teens ... but Dad and I tried to be a little more thrill-seeking today anyway. We played the piano this morning ...

... and took a walk to Dabble to stock up on birthday cards ...


... and pretended I was flying on top of Dad's knees...

...and then took a faceplant into nap time.

Today marked the end of Mom's maternity leave, so to help boost her energy level for her first day back at school I slept through the night! 11 pm to 7 am - no feedings! First time ever - way to go Me! We hung out for breakfast before braving the single digits for Audubon mochas and to drop Mom off at school.

Dad and I had a fun morning ... sitting on his lap to read the paper and sing/dance along to my tunes.

Diaper changes are always my favorite time to smile and talk.

We also played on the floor for awhile before it was nap time.
