Rough day

I wouldn't let daycare Mary leave my sight today ... and threw pouty tantrums all day. Mary said I was acting more like a 2 year old than an 11 month old ... which does not bode well for the next 25 months!

I also re-discovered the stairs tonight ... and promptly climbed all the way to the top in no time. For some reason I had been ignoring the stairs for the last few months ... but not anymore. I see a gate in my future!

Hooray!

We celebrated Mom's birthday today by BOB'n over to the park to vote! The rules stated I had to cover up my onesie ...

... but we briefly ignored the rules while I kept a lookout for the authorities!

Rake'n

Lots and lots of leaves means jump'n in the piles and great big smiles! We all worked really hard to get the leaves raked up today. I "helped" Mom and Dad take the leaves out of the bags and put them back into the jump'n piles.

Lyllie, where are you?
Peek a boo!

Penguin returns

If it's Saturday after Halloween ... it's BOB'n on over for mochas, donuts, and a COOKIE! My bakery ladies were a bit smitten with my getup and wouldn't let me leave without a little penguin food.

I finished the whole thing at the coffee shop while Mom and Dad tried to recover from another night of miserable sleep.
I received a few out-and-about comments that I was looking pudgy, so back home I exercised my leg (and smile) muscles by cruising around the front yard.
I also remembered that I really like pulling the candles out of our JoLs ...

Time to ToT!

Happy Halloween! My run of themewear came to a clothes today as I broke out both my Jack outfit and lots of smiles. Before heading out on our ToT adventure, I "helped" Mom and Dad prep our carved pumpkins by continually taking the candles out of them.
After a quick bite to eat and a change into my costume, we headed out on our grand ToT tour ... six stops at friends' covering a span of 70 miles ... whew! I nap'd in between stops but warmed up to demonstrate my penguin waddle for all my friends. By our last stop at Jim and Julie's (at 9:30 pm), I was poop'd and ready to call it a night ... but after a few bites of Julie's banana bread ...
... I found my second penguin wind.
While no one was looking, I made a quick dash to their candy box ...... and decided that my favorites are the shiny little chocolates.

All in all, an exhausting but fun first Halloween ... maybe next year I'll even be able to taste some of my favorite treats.
