ISWD: Weekend edition

Even if it's a snowy Saturday, Dad and I are bundling up and Cougar'n down to the Farmers Market on the Square.

We stopped in the fancy arts building to eat our market "cake" breakfast and watch the kiddie performance and a bit of an adult performance ...... before discovering that there will be no more capitol drinks until springtime.
On Sunday we picked Mom up at the airport and then headed down our street to look for my fowl friends.
No ducks here.
No ducks here.
There they are!
At my urging, the ducks eventually headed back to where they belong (in my opinion) - the river.

ISWD: "see see" edition

With Mom away at a conference in Washington DC - or, as I say it "Mommy bye-bye C C" - I'm stuck with Dad for the rest of the week. So far my piggies don't look as crisp at 7 pm as they do when Mom's around ...

... but he is remembering to feed me. And we're watching a little baseball so I've insisted on wearing my baseball shirt each of the last 2 evenings.
After dinner, I practiced my people-markering ... can you see Mommy, Daddy, Baby Belle, and Daycare Cindy in the picture below?

Museum

Before Mom heads off to a conference for the rest of the week, she and I hung out and braved the wind and rain today to check out the Childrens Museum downtown. I had fun meeting new friends and learning about water ...
... our city ...
... and "frobbies" and turtles.
I also colored a few fall leaves ...
... before throwing a few casts off the side of the boat.

WeekendWrapUp: Fore! edition

Even if it's a misty and chyllie Saturday, we're Cougar'n down to the Square for the Farmers Market and our weekly stop by the drinking fountain (I never pass a fountain w/o a sip or two).
The downtown Arts Center was hosting its first kiddie concert of the season, so we stopped in and swayed to a few kiddie-rap songs ...
... before heading back across the Square to the bikes ...
... and crashing on the way home.
After a quick nap we hit the links with Dad's labmates ...
... and brought home a trainer for me. I like having my own seat, but I'm no dummy and I'll only sit on it if it's on top of the real thing!

Is that you Tigger?

Mom and I took advantage of the clouds and visited a quiet zoo this morning. A slow day for the zoo meant no crowds to scare the animals away and the opportunity for me to get to know the tiger a little better!
Before leaving the zoo, I got in a solo carousel ride on the tapir.
Just outside the zoo, Mom and I shared an apple ...
... and some giggles for lunch.
Back home, I topped off the afternoon with a laundry basket ride and then helped Mom sort some clothes.
