Training commences

Clothes were optional as Mom and I enjoyed her day off today. We tried out a couple of different swimming pools around town before I spent the rest of my day sans attire in the back/skinny-side/front yards ...
... interrupted by a quick trip inside for my first go at a toilet. No excretory success to report, but I did look like a natural first unrolling and then flushing the toilet paper.

Nothing runs like a little helper

I've started to pitch in around the house by keeping Baby Belle occupied and out of trouble (feeding her, changing her diaper, swinging her, etc) and also by cleaning up the backyard with the help of Dad's childhood tractor that Grammy and Grampa brought a couple of weeks ago.

WeekendWrapUp: Square edition

If it's a summer Saturday in Madison ... it's Cougar'n down to the Capitol square for pastries, fruits, and veggies ... and a carton of breakfast raspberries that wasn't quite big enough.
We returned to the Capitol later that day for the Taste and battled the crowd to fill our tummies with curds, Thai noodles, and hummus for dinner.
On Sunday I demonstrated my increasing independence by dressing myself in Saturday's clothes. Syllie Lyllie!

Peachy

Mom and I enjoyed her first day off by devouring some tasty Michigan fruit ...
... and biking across town for a picnic dinner and a few swings.

Messy

From now on, Tuesdays in the spring/summer/fall mean Farmers' Market just down the bikepath from our house. Tonight we BOB'd/bipedal'd down and I made a few calls on our squash ...

... before taking a break along the path to snap a few twigs on the trip home.
Post-walk I enjoyed my most recent favorite evening activity in our skinny sideyard - splashing and spraying with the hose ...... but unfortunately dinner had yet to come - and yogurt was on the menu!
